Carolina's Marina Community on Winyah Bay

| New Marina: Belle Isle Marina was
completely re-built in 2006. The new facility has 80 slips with
utilities, complete fueling service and a ship’s store. Thirty,
forty and fifty foot slips are available. Thirty-foot slips are
available with boatlifts. All slips have finger piers and all 40
and 50’ slips have mooring piles. Belle Isle Marina features a
Sound Marine Floating Dock System with 5/4 Brazilian hardwood
decking throughout. Each slip has full utilities – metered
electrical service, cable TV, and potable water. The Marina has
a fire protection system and a portable sewage pump out
stations. |

It is the closest South Carolina marina to
the Gulf Stream, and is one of the premier marinas on the
eastern seaboard of the United States. Winyah Bay is the
East Coast's third largest watershed and the area's largest
salt water marsh estuary, where fishing abounds. The Yacht
Club at Belle Isle offers some of the best boat dockage
facilities and marina community living on the South Carolina
Coast. |
A new Ship’s Store has been constructed
which has boating and fishing supplies, toilets and shower
facilities, and a grill and snack bar. The beautiful 1,500
sq. ft. observation gazebo – also in Brazilian hardwood –
provides a wonderful spot to have a sandwich and a drink and
enjoy the views of the marina itself and Winyah Bay. |
